Post 1

I have, after much deliberation, decided to write about gluten—yes, gluten, that substance that changed my life. Ok, ok, perhaps a bit, ok, very, melodramatic, and yet, it’s true. Four to five years ago I had my blood tested in hopes of finding a solution to the near chronic bronchitis that had plagued my entire life (and was getting progressively worse). Long story short the allergist recommended I stop eating gluten, so I did, and lo and behold I have not acquired bronchitis, allergies or almost any sickness since. Literally a miracle. Also I have met countless other people who cured a problem (for example, premature arthritis) by eliminating gluten from theie diet. I am curious why this is so, the effects of gluten on the body and if going gluten-free should be recommended for everyone. The next step in my research is to read a large volume of articles to get a better grasp of my subject matter and narrow down a topic. Also, and I cant believe I’m saying this, but I’m looking forward to researching this topic especially as it’s not a topic I would normally research. And I wanted to research a light-hearted topic. And that concludes the most interesting blog entry of all time (only mild sarcasm).
